We imported this former San Diego Police Department helicopter from the USA, and while the aircraft was still en route to Australia, it was secured by its new owner.

Following its arrival, our team carried out the Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) process along with a comprehensive range of upgrades and maintenance to tailor the aircraft to the owner’s operational requirements. This included avionics upgrades, modifications, paint refinishing and scheduled maintenance.

Several key modifications were incorporated as part of the completion, including the Cargo Swing system, Crash Resistant Fuel System (CRFS), PCH Flight Manual Holder and the curved tailpipe modification.

The curved tailpipe modification is designed to reduce heat and soot accumulation on the tailboom, significantly reducing cleaning time while also helping extend the service life of the tail rotor driveshaft bearings and preserving the longevity of the paint finish
