Pacific Crown Helicopters prepares for Airbus H160 paint and interior completion in Australia

Pacific Crown Helicopters (PCH) has welcomed the first Airbus H160 to its Sunshine Coast facility, where the company will undertake a full exterior paint and interior completion.

This project represents a significant milestone in the introduction of the H160 into the Australian market, with PCH playing a central role in delivering a fully customised, high-quality finish tailored to the client’s requirements. The aircraft will showcase PCH’s expertise in premium interiors, paint design and detailed craftsmanship.

Further strengthening its position in the region, PCH has also achieved CASA Part 145 approval for the H160, becoming one of the first maintenance organisations in Australia authorised to support the type. This approval highlights the company’s continued investment in expanding its capabilities to support the latest generation of Airbus Helicopters aircraft.

“Achieving CASA Part 145 approval for the H160 and preparing for this Australian completion reflects the dedication of our team and our commitment to growing our capabilities on larger twin-engine helicopters,” said Nigel Simpson, General Manager at Pacific Crown Helicopters.

Pacific Crown Helicopters is an approved service centre for Airbus Helicopters and Safran Helicopter Engines. Located at Sunshine Coast Airport in Queensland, PCH provides a turnkey solution across helicopter sales, completions, refurbishment, modification and maintenance.
