Due to regular operation in dusty environments the operator needed to reduce all associated engine wear so the fitment of a FDC Inlet Barrier Filter (IBF) was the obvious choice. The IBF also comes with a few extra benefits including FOD protection, reduced overhaul costs and reduced aircraft down time.
